My Mission
I am a mom. I am in technology. I absolutely love what I do. What I do matters. I like to know the “why”. I appreciate the time and care of others and I want to give back. I have done web searches for many things and many times did not find the full answer. My posts are answers from my research to questions from my clients. I have over 800 user guides. Most are guides I wrote, and some are guides that I collected on my journey, and I want to share them with you through daily blogs.
My Background
Throughout the years, I have worked with over 100 customers across 14 countries and have learned how to communicate​ with the top executives, department managers, and warehouse clerks. I have traveled internationally, working with each Customer’s IT/IS organizations on projects. I have developed an external focus of how the marketplace relies on technology to help automate and streamline manufacturing and have been responsible for business assessments for ERP implementation projects. As part of the evaluation, I worked with customers to develop continuous improvement plans. These plans include new ways to cut costs, lean manufacturing processes, and increase output through business planning. As an example, I was instrumental in a General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Sales and Marketing, Fixed Assets, and Costing module rollout for a for a Fortune 500 company. Within this role, I was the lead consultant for Finance, Customer Service, and Costing modules and have moved between various divisions of the company. In this capacity, my implementation work included features like Sales Order processing and customer service management, complex trade agreements, customer collections, production costing, and accounts payable invoicing and payment processing.
For four years, I was the Program Manager and lead consultant for a $15 billion marketing and advertising client implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Project Management and Accounting, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales Tax, and Travel and Expense Management modules and have moved between various divisions of the company. In this role has also been responsible for setting up a shared service center in Canada, and another shared service center in the USA. My team was also responsible for supporting three additional shared service centers
In a recent undertaking, I was the Project Manager and Solution Architect for a Life Science pharma company implementing Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, Master Planning, and Fixed Assets. This customer was expanding from the US to 7 European countries. 6 of the new legal entities were limited risk distributor (LRD) companies. The process consisted of intercompany, direct delivery, and an integration with a 3PL. We were responsible for VAT and intrastate compliances as well as GxP Validation. For finance, we implemented a multi-tier elimination and consolidation process and financial reporting.

My Experience
I have worked in a management role at two Microsoft Gold Partners. I participated in leading consulting teams, making business decisions for the company as well as hiring, executing performance reviews, and other HR related task. I was also responsible for sending out statements of work, approving client billings, managing overall customer relationships, and presales activities.
